GARY BARTZ RETURNS TO PERFORM IN BALTIMORE

After a ten-year hiatus, alto saxophonist Gary Bartz returned to perform in Baltimore in September. Several hundred audience members jammed the pier of the Douglass-Myers Museum on Sunday, September 29th in Baltimore’s Fells Point neighborhood to celebrate what turned out to be Baltimore’s first jazz festival in years. | Read more>> Read More

Audio track: “Sepia” by Phil Ravita Phil Ravita‘s tune “Sepia” was commissioned by the BJA for the Baltimore Jazz Composers’ Showcase and performed by the showcase band at Loyola University on September 29, 2013.
